Lost in a sea of darkness
Feeling low and very down
I see a pinpoint of light
That grows helping me to see the way
Through the maze of life
The comfort of the light surrounds me
And I feel the need to find its source
I look and search until finally
I find the origin
And realize that it’s you
Helping me along when I really needed it
Guiding me through the dark
You,
My dearest, oldest, wisest friend
Lifted me up to see
That life’s not really all that bad
For this I’ll always treasure you
And keep you’re cheerful face in my thoughts
As I continue my journey and try
To help you in yours
